The short version
Aftertalk is private by design. Your reflections belong to you. We don't sell your data, we don't run ads, and we don't share your content with anyone. You can export or delete everything at any time.
What we collect
- Your email address, used only to sign in to your account.
- The reflections, emotions, and notes you enter into the app, stored on our server, tied to your account, and readable only by you.
That's it. No device identifiers, no location data, no behavioral tracking, no advertising profiles.
What we don't collect
- No analytics or tracking scripts
- No cookies beyond what authentication requires
- No usage data sold or shared with third parties
- No AI training on your content. Ever.
Third parties
Supabase handles authentication. When you sign up or sign in, your email is processed by Supabase. Their privacy policy governs that handling.
Google Fonts loads the typefaces used on this site. This is a standard CDN request and does not involve personal data.
No advertising networks, data brokers, or social media trackers are used anywhere on this site or in the app.
Your rights
- Export all your data as JSON or CSV from the Settings screen at any time.
- Delete your account and all associated data permanently from the Settings screen. Deletion is immediate.

Data retention
Your data is stored for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all data is removed immediately and cannot be recovered.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Aftertalk after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
